ROBERT BIALE VINEYARDS

Vine Pass Offer

Receive $25 off the Valley Vista Tasting

Known For

Robert Biale Vineyards is renowned for its dedication to preserving and elevating California's heritage grape varieties, particularly Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Situated in Napa Valley's Oak Knoll District, the winery specializes in crafting small-lot, single-vineyard wines from some of the oldest and most storied vineyards in the region.

Founded in 1991 by Bob Biale, the winery honors a legacy that began in the 1940s when Bob's father, Aldo, secretly sold homemade Zinfandel under the code name "Black Chicken" to bypass Prohibition-era restrictions. Today, Robert Biale Vineyards continues this tradition by producing wines from vineyards planted as early as the 1880s, emphasizing sustainable farming and minimal intervention winemaking.
